JESUS SHARES WITH the PEOPLE the “PARABLE of the WHEAT and the TARES/DARNEL”
This parable is commonly known as “The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares.” The Amplified Bible uses the word “darnel” in the place of “tares” which I will use because I feel it gives us a more correct understanding when comparing the good and bad characteristics of wheat to darnel.
Another parable He {Jesus} set forth before them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while he was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed also darnel (weeds resembling wheat) among the wheat, and went on his way. So when the plants sprouted and formed grain, the darnel (weeds) appeared also.
“And the servants of the owner came to him and said, Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? Then how does it have darnel shoots in it? He replied to them, An enemy has done this. The servants said to him, Then do you want us to go and weed them out? But he said, No, lest in gathering the wild wheat ({/darnel} weeds resembling wheat), you root up the [true] wheat along with it.
“Let them grow together until the harvest; and at harvest time I will say to the reapers, Gather the darnel first and bind it in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my granary.” (Matthew 13:24-30) AMP
JESUS INTERPOLATES the PARABLE of the WHEAT and the DARNEL.
Jesus’ interpolation of the “Parable of the Wheat and the Darnel” illustrates to us the correct way of viewing, discerning, and executing the spiritual supernatural message of salvation contained in all of His parables about the kingdom of God/heaven, and Christ’s judgment of what is yet to come. As I have shared, the Christian Church is made up of the false whore church of Babylon intertwined within Christ’s Bride Church. This parable illustrates to us the worldwide separation of the True Believers of Christ’s Bride Church from the potential Make Believers of the apostate false whore church of Babylon. This will culminate at the end of the age with Christ’s judgment of the nations of the world. (1) This parable contains the spiritual supernatural processes of sanctification, eternal glorification, and eternal condemnation.
(1) On that day when, as my Gospel proclaims, God by Jesus Christ will judge men in regard to the things which they conceal (their hidden thoughts). [Eccl 12:14.] (Romans 2:16) AMP
(1a) Before the Lord, for He {Jesus Christ} comes, for He comes to judge and govern the earth! He shall judge the world with righteousness and justice and the peoples with His faithfulness and truth. [1 Chron 16:23-33; Rev 19:11.] (Psalms 96:13) AMP
Then He left the throngs and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him saying, “Explain to us the parable of the darnel in the field.” He answered, “He Who sows the good seed is the Son of Man {Jesus Christ}. The field is the world, and the good seed means the children of the kingdom; the darnel is the children of the evil one, And the enemy who sowed it is the devil. The harvest is the close and consummation of the age, and the reapers are angels.
“Just as the darnel (weeds resembling wheat) is gathered and burned with fire, so it will be at the close of the age. The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all causes of offense [persons by whom others are drawn into error or sin] and all who do iniquity and act wickedly, And will cast them into the furnace of fire; there will be weeping and wailing and grinding of teeth.
“Then will the righteous (those who are upright and in right standing with God) shine forth like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Let him who has ears [to hear] be listening, and let him consider and perceive and understand by hearing.” [Dan 12:3.] (Matthew 13:36-43) AMP
Please notice that at the end of Jesus’ interpolation of “The Parable of the Wheat and the Darnel,” He uses similar terminology as He did at the end of His sharing of the parable of the “Seed and the Sower” – “Let him who has ears [to hear] be listening, and let him consider and perceive and understand by hearing.” It is by faith in the truth of God’s Word that we hear, perceive, realize, and act upon (2) the infiltration of false teachers and the implementation and saturation of their false doctrines into the worldwide Christian Church. (3)
(2) So faith comes by hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the preaching [of the message that came from the lips] of Christ (the Messiah Himself {as the Word}).

(2a) But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out]. (Hebrews 11:6) AMP
(3) For such men are false apostles [spurious, counterfeits], deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles (special messengers) of Christ (the Messiah). And it is no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light; So it is not surprising if his servants also masquerade as ministers of righteousness. [But] their end will correspond with their deeds.” (2 Corinthians 11:13-15) AMP
(3a) These people draw near Me with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but their hearts hold off and are far away from Me. Uselessly do they worship Me, for they teach as doctrines the commands of men. [Isa 29:13.] (Matthew 15:8-9) AMP
(3b) Do you not discern and understand that you [the whole church at Corinth] are God’s temple (His sanctuary), and that God’s Spirit has His permanent dwelling in you [to be at home in you, collectively as a church and also individually]? If anyone does hurt to God’s temple {YOU are God’s temple} or corrupts it [with false doctrines] or destroys it, God will do hurt to him and bring him to the corruption of death and destroy him. For the temple of God is holy (sacred to Him) and that [temple] you [the believing church and its individual believers] are. Let no person deceive himself. If anyone among you supposes that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool [let him discard his worldly discernment and recognize himself as dull, stupid, and foolish, without true learning and scholarship], that he may become [really] wise. [Isa 5:21.] (1 Corinthians 3:16-18) AMP
Jesus’ interpolation of this parable reveals to us that the good seeds that are sown throughout the worldwide Christian Church are His adopted “Born Again” justified children who are sanctified/ set apart to minister in the world for their Savior, Lord God, and Master – Jesus Christ. They are True Believers! The darnel seed which is sown in Christ’s worldwide church by Satan are NOT Unbelievers! They are “Christians” who have been led astray by false teachers with their false doctrines and false teachings, and who have become Make Believers. Now comes the hard part – how does one discern the True Believer {wheat seeds} from the Make Believer {darnel seeds}? And what does the True Believer do about it?
The biggest problem within the Christian Church “TODAY” is the mishmash of false faith and false teachings within the Church itself which is causing “apostasy” which MUST happen! (4) The Bible states, “For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?” (1 Peter 4:17) NKJV Why does Christ’s judgment have to begin with his Church? (5) The separation of True Believers of Christ’s Bride Church and their faith and service to God from the church’s apostate Make Believers and their faith and service to God cannot take place until Christ’s Second Coming and the harvest – the separation of souls – the True Believers from the Make Believers who then are joined with the Unbelievers. (6) This separation/judgment will be executed by God’s angels. (7)
(4) Let no one deceive or beguile you in any way, for that day will not come except the apostasy comes first [unless the predicted great falling away of those who have professed to be Christians has come], and the man of lawlessness (sin) is revealed, who is the son of doom (of perdition), [Dan 7:25; 8:25; 1 Tim 4:1.] (2 Thessalonians 2:3) AMP
(5) John answered them all by saying, I baptize you with water; but He {Jesus Christ} Who is mightier than I is coming, the strap of Whose sandals I am not fit to unfasten. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. His winnowing shovel (fork) {judgment} is in His hand to thoroughly clear and cleanse His [threshing] floor and to gather the wheat and store it in His granary, but the chaff He will burn with fire that cannot be extinguished. (Luke 3:16-17) AMP
(5a) Even the Father judges no one, for He has given all judgment (the last judgment and the whole business of judging) entirely into the hands of the Son, (John 5:22) AMP
(6) “When the Son of Man comes in His glory (His majesty and splendor), and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them [the people] from one another as a shepherd separates his sheep from the goats; [Ezek 34:17.] And He will cause the sheep to stand at His right hand, but the goats at His left. Then the King will say to those at His right hand, Come, you blessed of My Father [you favored of God and appointed to eternal salvation], inherit (receive as your own) the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. (Matthew 25:31-34) AMP
(6a) Then He will say to those at His left hand, Begone from Me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels! (Matthew 25:41) AMP
(6b) Then they will go away into eternal punishment, but those who are just and upright and in right standing with God into eternal life. [Dan 12:2.] (Matthew 25:46) AMP
(7) The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, (Matthew 13:41) NKJV
What is the significance of Jesus using the words “wheat and darnel?” The people to whom Jesus told this parable knew the physical difference between wheat seeds and darnel seeds. In this parable, Jesus interpolated the “good” wheat seeds i.e. Jesus’ True Believers who are sown by Him throughout the world because of their true faith in Him, and the “bad” darnel seeds – Make Believers who WERE Christians but have been led astray by the deceiver Satan and his ever growing army of Make Believers, all growing within the same field – the whole world. (8)
(8) Not that there is [or could be] any other [genuine Gospel], but there are [obviously] some who are troubling and disturbing and bewildering you [with a different kind of teaching which they offer as a gospel] and want to pervert and distort the Gospel of Christ (the Messiah) [into something which it absolutely is not]. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to and different from that which we preached to you, let him be accursed (anathema, devoted to destruction, doomed to eternal punishment)! (Galatians 1:7-8) AMP
(8a) And the huge dragon was cast down and out–that age-old serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, he who is the seducer (deceiver) of all humanity the world over; he was forced out and down to the earth, and his angels were flung out along with him. [Gen 3:1, 14, 15; Zech 3:1.] (Revelation 12:9) AMP
While growing, wheat stalks and darnel stalks look very much alike. As they begin to produce fruit containing seeds is when you can discern the wheat seeds from the darnel seeds. While growing, it takes a knowledgeable person with a trained eye to discern which is an edible food source – wheat seeds – or a counterfeit and opiate (drug) type darnel seeds. The food products produced by wheat seeds are for nourishing and enriching the human body and mind. The products of the darnel seeds act as opiates to humans producing symptoms of drug and/or alcohol induced physically and mentally impaired behavior. This behavior gives opposite results to humans bringing degenerate physical and diminished mental capacity thus inhibiting and limiting the individual from achieving their God given abilities. If taken in an excessive amount, the fungal nature of the darnel seeds can also result in death. So, who do the wheat seeds and the darnel seeds represent?
Many pastors and teachers INTERPRET this parable as giving ministry to the Believers in Christ’s Church to evangelize the Unbelievers/sinners all of whom reside in this world. Jesus’ synopsis of this parable – “The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the darnel are the sons of the wicked one. The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels.” (Matthew 13:38-39 NKJV) seemingly indicates this as a plausible interpretation and a good physical teaching. But I do not believe this to be the correct spiritual INTERPOLATION for this parable! The Christian Church around the world contains a mix of True Believers and Make Believers who are in reality Unbelievers, and the True Believers of Christ’s Bride Church MUST be revealed to the world BEFORE Christ’s Second Coming. (9)
(9) Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers [do not make mismated alliances with them or come under a different yoke with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership have right living and right standing with God with iniquity and lawlessness? Or how can light have fellowship with darkness? What harmony can there be between Christ and Belial [the devil]? Or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? What agreement [can there be between] a temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God; even as God said, I will dwell in and with and among them and will walk in and with and among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. [Ex 25:8; 29:45; Lev 26:12; Jer 31:1; Ezek 37:27.] So, come out from among [unbelievers], and separate (sever) yourselves from them, says the Lord, and touch not [any] unclean thing; then I will receive you kindly and treat you with favor, [Isa 52:11.] and I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty. [Isa 43:6; Hos 1:10.]
THEREFORE, SINCE these [great] promises are ours, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that contaminates and defiles body and spirit, and bring [our] consecration to completeness in the [reverential] fear of God. (2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1) AMP
(9a) For many imposters (seducers, deceivers, and false leaders) have gone out into the world, men who will not acknowledge (confess, admit) the coming of Jesus Christ (the Messiah) in bodily form. Such a one is the imposter (the seducer, the deceiver, the false leader, the antagonist of Christ) and the antichrist.
Look to yourselves (take care) that you may not lose (throw away or destroy) all that we and you have labored for, but that you may [persevere until you] win and receive back a perfect reward [in full].
Anyone who runs on ahead [of God] and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ [who is not content with what He taught] does not have God; but he who continues to live in the doctrine (teaching) of Christ [does have God], he has both the Father and the Son.
If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine [is disloyal to what Jesus Christ taught], do not receive him [do not accept him, do not welcome or admit him] into [your] house or bid him Godspeed or give him any encouragement. For he who wishes him success [who encourages him, wishing him Godspeed] is a partaker in his evil doings. (2 John 7-11) AMP
At the beginning of this parable of the Wheat and the Darnel, Jesus stated that the worldwide kingdom of His Church contains new Believers and True Believers (the wheat) which has been infiltrated by false teachers using doctrines of demons causing some of these new Believers and True Believers (wheat seeds) to become fallen apostate Make Believers now Unbelievers (darnel seeds) within The Christian Church. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! The reason being that the young plants of the wheat and the darnel are so similar that one can be mistaken for the other, but when they bear fruit containing their seeds is when the difference can be distinguished and dealt with. The plants bearing the wheat seeds are the True Believers of Christ’s Bride Church. The plants (false whore church of Babylon/cults) bearing the darnel seeds are the Make Believers. By the fruit which contains seeds of BOTH the Bride Church and the false whore church of Babylon you shall know them i.e. BOTH churches proliferate extensively/multiply greatly. (10)
(10) A good (healthy) tree cannot bear bad (worthless) fruit, nor can a bad (diseased) tree bear excellent fruit [worthy of admiration]. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire. Therefore, you will fully know them by their fruits. (Matthew 7:18-20) AMP
(10a) But the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some in the church will turn away from Christ and become eager followers of teachers with devil-inspired ideas. These teachers will tell lies with straight faces and do it so often that their consciences won’t even bother them. (1 Timothy 4:1-2) TLB
(10b) But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them — bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping. (2 Peter 2:1-3) NIV
(10c) If anyone teaches false doctrines and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, he is conceited and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions and constant friction between men of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain. (1 Timothy 6:3-5) NIV
This testimony of the True Believers of Christ’s Bride Church will be contradictory and diametrically opposed to the testimony of the Make Believers of the false whore church of Babylon (11) which I believe is seen in the “Two Witnesses” found in Revelation Chapter 11. (12) I have previously stated that the “Parable of the Wheat and the Darnel” reveals the worldwide inclusion of the false whore church of Babylon of Revelation chapter 17 within the Christian Church. This parable also reveals the “kingdom” division within the Christian Church. The Bride Church will represent the spiritual supernatural kingdom of God/heaven and the false whore church of Babylon will join in wholeheartedly with the kingdom of the world. (13)
(11) Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name? And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands]. [Ps 6:8.] (Matthew 7:21-23) AMP
(12) And I will grant the power of prophecy to My two witnesses for 1,260 (42 months; three and one-half years), dressed in sackcloth. These [witnesses] are the two olive trees and the two lampstands which stand before the Lord of the earth. [Zech 4:3,11-14.] And if anyone attempts to injure them, fire pours from their mouth and consumes their enemies; if anyone should attempt to harm them, thus he is doomed to be slain. [2 Kings 1:10; Jer 5:14.]
These [two witnesses] have power to shut up the sky, so that no rain may fall during the days of their prophesying (their prediction of events relating to Christ’s kingdom and its speedy triumph); and they also have power to turn the waters into blood and to smite and scourge the earth with all manner of plagues as often as they choose. [Ex 7:17,19; 1 Kings 17:1.] But when they have finished their testimony and their evidence is all in, the beast (monster) that comes up out of the Abyss (bottomless pit) will wage war on them, and conquer them and kill them. [Dan 7:3, 7, 21.]
And their dead bodies [will lie exposed] in the open street (a public square) of the great city which is in a spiritual sense called [by the mystical and allegorical names of] Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified. [Isa 1:9.]
For three and a half days men from the races and tribes and languages and nations will gaze at their dead bodies and will not allow them to be put in a tomb. And those who dwell on the earth will gloat and exult over them and rejoice exceedingly, taking their ease and sending presents [in congratulation] to one another, because these two prophets had been such a vexation and trouble and torment to all the dwellers on the earth.
But after three and a half days, by God’s gift the breath of life again entered into them, and they rose up on their feet, and great dread and terror fell on those who watched them. [Ezek 37:5,10.]
Then [the two witnesses] heard a strong voice from heaven calling to them, Come up here! And before the very eyes of their enemies they ascended into heaven in a cloud. [2 Kings 2:11.] (Revelation 11:3-12) AMP
(13) For God has put it into their hearts {false whore church of Babylon} to carry out His own purpose by acting in harmony in surrendering their royal power and authority to the beast, {kingdom of the world} until the prophetic words (intentions and promises) of God shall be fulfilled. (Revelation 17:17) AMP
Let’s continue on with Jesus’ interpolation. His spiritual supernatural interpolation compares the entire inhabitable world to a field in which the wheat seeds/good seeds/adopted children of God’s kingdom here on earth are sown by their true faith in Jesus Christ. The wheat stalks with their fruit bearing seeds are Believers and True Believers in Jesus Christ in His worldwide Bride Church – those who have accepted Him as their Personal Savior and are in the life long process of sanctification of making Him their Lord God and Master/Teacher in their ministry, (14) and they use the Bible through the leading of God the Holy Spirit as their guide to form their spiritual supernatural kingdom of God Biblical Christian Worldview. (15)
(14) But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:8-13) NKJV
(14a) Then He {Jesus} said to Thomas, Reach out your finger here, and see My hands; and put out your hand and place [it] in My side. Do not be faithless and incredulous, but [stop your unbelief and] believe! Thomas answered Him, My Lord and my God! Jesus said to him, Because you have seen Me, Thomas, do you now believe (trust, have faith)? Blessed and happy and to be envied are those who have never seen Me and yet have believed and adhered to and trusted and relied on Me. (John 20:27-29) AMP
(14b) {Jesus said,} You call Me the Teacher (Master) and the Lord, and you are right in doing so, for that is what I am. (John 13:13) AMP
(14c) For certain men have crept in stealthily [gaining entrance secretly by a side door]. Their doom was predicted long ago, ungodly (impious, profane) persons who pervert the grace (the spiritual blessing and favor) of our God into lawlessness and wantonness and immorality, and disown and deny our sole Master and Lord, Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). (Jude 1:4) AMP
(15) But you have been anointed by [you hold a sacred appointment from, you have been given an unction from] the Holy one, and you all know [the Truth] or you know all things. But as for you, the anointing (the sacred appointment, the unction) which you received from Him abides [permanently] in you; [so] then you have no need that anyone should instruct you. But just as His anointing teaches you concerning everything and is true and is no falsehood, so you must abide in (live in, never depart from) Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him], just as [His anointing] has taught you [to do]. (1 John 2:20, 27) AMP
(15a) Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth {the Bible}. (John 17:17) NKJV
(15b) The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; (Psalms 19:7) NKJV
(15c) Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth. (2 Timothy 2:15) AMP
The darnel stalks with their seeds in the Christian Church are apostate Make Believers who are the product of demonic deception (16) and if they do not repent, they will be eternally judged by Christ as Unbelievers. (17) This happened to them because they allowed the pressures of the world and false teachers with counterfeit doctrines and teachings of demons to guide their lives. Again, this apostasy MUST happen within the Christian Church! (18) These Make Believers are intermingled and distributed in the same worldwide field as the worldwide Christian Church and believe themselves to be “the True Believers” of the Christian Church. It takes a knowledgeable person with a trained spiritual eye to discern which fruit containing seeds are the True Believers and which fruit containing seeds are the counterfeit apostate Make Believers. (19)

(17) For it is written, As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God [acknowledge Him to His honor and to His praise]. (18) The Great Apostasy. Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, (1 Timothy 4:1) NKJV

(18b) For the time is coming when [people] will not tolerate (endure) sound and wholesome instruction, but, having ears itching [for something pleasing and gratifying], they will gather to themselves one teacher after another to a considerable number, chosen to satisfy their own liking and to foster the errors they hold, And will turn aside from hearing the truth and wander off into myths and man-made fictions. (18c) Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you for the prize. Such a person goes into great detail about what he has seen, and his unspiritual mind puffs him up with idle notions. He has lost connection with the Head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow.
Since you died with Christ to the basic principles of this world, why, as though you still belonged to it, do you submit to its rules: “Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!”? These are all destined to perish with use, because they are based on human commands and teachings. Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence. (19a) And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power]. (Colossians 2:10) AMP
(19b) Now in the present case let me say to you, stand off (withdraw) from these men and let them alone. For if this doctrine or purpose or undertaking or movement is of human origin, it will fail (be overthrown and come to nothing); But if it is of God, you will not be able to stop or overthrow or destroy them; you might even be found fighting against God! (Acts 5:38-39) AMP
Jesus’ interpolation of the “Parable of the Wheat and the Darnel” reveals the spiritual process of sanctification i.e. the remainder of your lifetime being set apart for the work of God. (20) During one’s lifetime and their time of sanctification, he/she will bear fruit producing seeds which as illustrated in the Bible has having three distinct connotations. The first meaning has to do with the fruit you produce through the natural process of procreation which is also known as yielding “fruit of your loins” – your children – God’s offspring. (21)
(20) For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]. (Ephesians 2:10) AMP
(21) Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” (Genesis 1:28) NKJV
(21a) Behold, children are a heritage(/gift) from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. [Deuteronomy 28:4.] As arrows are in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth. Happy, blessed, and fortunate is the man whose quiver is filled with them! They will not be put to shame when they speak with their adversaries [in gatherings] at the [city’s] gate. (Psalms 127:3-5) AMP
(21b) So that they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel after Him and find Him, although He is not far from each one of us. For in Him we live and move and have our being; as even some of your [own] poets have said, For we are also His offspring. Since then we are God’s offspring, we ought not to suppose that Deity (the Godhead) is like gold or silver or stone, [of the nature of] a representation by human art and imagination, or anything constructed or invented {Rather, we must know Him as the true living, loving God!} (Acts 17:27-29) AMP
The second meaning for bearing fruit has to do with your sanctification process and it’s imputed “fruit of the Spirit” of your new “Born Again” divine nature lived according to the “Golden Rule” and the royal “Law of Christ.” (22)
(22) But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge]. (Galatians 5:22-23) AMP
(22a) By means of these He has bestowed on us His precious and exceedingly great promises, so that through them you may escape [by flight] from the moral decay (rottenness and corruption) that is in the world because of covetousness (lust and greed), and become sharers (partakers) of the divine nature. (2 Peter 1:4) AMP
(22b) Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. (Matthew 7:12) NKJV
(22c) Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. (Galatians 6:2) NKJV
(22d) Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 22:37-40) NKJV
(22e) If, however, you are fulfilling the royal law according to the Scripture, “YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF,” you are doing well. (James 2:8) NASU
The third meaning for bearing fruit has to do with your testimony for Jesus Christ which will “bear fruit that lasts” – the winning of the lost souls/sinners of the world to Jesus Christ as their personal Savior {Babes in Christ – the process of justification}, and then helping them in the process of sanctification/maturing in faith teaching them to know and love Jesus Christ as their personal Lord God, and Master resulting in their eternal glorification. (23) You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. (John 15:16) NKJV
(23a) Godly men are growing a tree that bears life-giving fruit, and all who win souls are wise. (Proverbs 11:30) TLB
(23b) Stop toiling and doing and producing for the food that perishes and decomposes [in the using], but strive and work and produce rather for the [lasting] food which endures [continually] unto life eternal; the Son of Man will give (furnish) you that, for God the Father has authorized and certified Him and put His seal of endorsement upon Him. They then said, What are we to do, that we may [habitually] be working the works of God? [What are we to do to carry out what God requires?] Jesus replied, This is the work (service) that God asks of you: that you believe in the One Whom He has sent [that you cleave to, trust, rely on, and have faith in His Messenger]. (John 6:27-29) AMP
We now have a portion of Scripture that reveals to us Jesus’ worldwide separating of the sheep/ wheat seeds from the goats/darnel seeds i.e. His separating His True Believers from all unrepentant Make Believers and Unbelievers – His Corporate Eternal Glorification/judgment of the adopted Children of God of His Bride Church versus His Corporate Eternal Condemnation/ judgment of the members of the apostate false whore church of Babylon.
The Son of Man Will Judge the Nations. “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’
“Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’
“Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’
“Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” (Matthew 25:31-46) NKJV
In closing the interpolation of the Parable of the Wheat and the Darnel, we need to look at the rewarding of eternal glorification to each Saint individually and corporately for their diligence from their beginning as a Christian to their death as a True Believer in Christ’s Bride Church. At the end of Christ’s interpolation He said, “Then will the righteous (those who are upright and in right standing with God) shine forth like the sun in the kingdom of their Father.” (Matthew 13:43) AMP (24)
(24) Behold, I {Jesus Christ} am coming soon, and I shall bring My wages and rewards with Me, to repay and render to each one just what his own actions and his own work merit. [Isa 40:10; Jer 17:10.] (Revelation 22:12) AMP
As I continue on with the interpolation of the parables, I ask you to remember the definition given previously for apostasy, “As a professed Christian who knowingly, willfully, and deliberately rejects the revealed truth about Jesus Christ and His teachings as found in God’s Word.” I believe this act of apostasy is an act of blasphemy – the unpardonable sin against God the Holy Spirit. (25) Such people will pay the penalty and suffer the punishment of everlasting ruin (destruction and perdition) and eternal exclusion and banishment from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, (2 Thessalonians 1:9) AMP
Apostates are professors of Jesus Christ as their Savior but not possessors of true salvation. The correct interpolation of the parables will truly help define this apostasy, this falling away of church members some of whom have been church goers for a number of years, worshiping and serving God with His spiritual supernatural kingdom of God Biblical Christian Worldview, but the cares of and for this world enticed them back into the profane secular humanistic worldview of worshiping and serving their man made riches.
As I write this, I know of several family members and friends who used to go to church, some for years but no longer do for the very reasons I am listing here. Jesus made this very clear to the Pharisees, “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. The Law, the Prophets, and the kingdom. Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him. And He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.” (Luke 16:13-15) NKJV
The apostle John also made this very clear. “For all that is in the world — the lust of the flesh [craving for sensual gratification] and the lust of the eyes [greedy longings of the mind] and the pride of life [assurance in one’s own resources or in the stability of earthly things] — these do not come from the Father but are from the world [itself].” (1 John 2:16) AMP
This falling away has extremely serious consequences for those who are judged as such. They will experience the judgment that Jesus states, “Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name?” Why in the “WORLD” would He say to them, “Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands].” [Psalms 6:8.] (Matthew 7:22, 21, 23) AMP
Jesus’ judgment is completely revealed from the spiritual supernatural interpolation of the parables using the Gospel Message of salvation and its processes of justification, sanctification, eternal glorification, and/or eternal condemnation. What I will now continue to reveal in the following parables is the continued intertwining and intermingling of the truth taught in the wheat/True Believers amongst the darnel/Make Believers concept of the Parable of the Wheat and the Darnel. This will continue to reveal the Make Believer as disguising and masquerading himself/herself amongst the True Believers within The Christian Church. Paul defends the necessity of exposing this charade. “But what I do, I will also continue to do, that I may cut off the opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to be regarded just as we are in the things of which they boast. For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.” (2 Corinthians 11:12-15) NKJV
I will use the following parables – the “Parable of the Lost Sheep,” the “Parable of the Lost Coin,” the “Parable of the Prodigal Son,” the “Parable of the Unjust Steward,” the “Parable of the Rich Man,” the “Parable of the Arrogant Slave,” the “Parable of the Laborers in the Vineyard,” the “Parable of the Talents, and the “Parable of the Minas” – to reveal the positions of the True Believer, the Make Believer, and the Unbeliever receiving their just rewards through their work and spiritual maturity or lack of work and lack of spiritual maturity in the processes of justification, sanctification, eternal glorification, and/or resulting in eternal condemnation. (26) But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6) NKJV
