JESUS CHRIST’S INTERVENTION

© Jesus said that He did not come to bring worldly peace upon the earth, but that He brought with Him a sword…

I must be very careful here!!! Jesus said that He did not come to bring worldly peace upon the earth, but that He brought with Him a sword, a sword that would not only divide families between True Believers and Unbelievers but separate out the True Believers from the Make Believers within The Christian Church. He also tells us that whoever finds life here on the earth loses his eternal life with God i.e. if you choose the profane secular humanistic worldview over the spiritual supernatural Kingdom of God Biblical Christian Worldview, you will not spend eternity with God. If you choose to separate yourself from the profane secular humanistic worldview and participate in and joyfully hold to the spiritual supernatural Kingdom of God Biblical Christian Worldview, you will spend eternity with God. The decision is yours. (1)
(1) Christ Brings Division. (Luke 12:51-53; 14:26, 27) “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.  For I have come to ‘set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’; and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’  He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.  And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.  He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it. (Matthew 10:34-39) NKJV

WHILE I LIVE in the WORLD, I AM NOT to BE PART of this WORLD.

Jesus wants us to understand that we as Christians are just passing through this physical realm and are only temporary sojourners and pilgrims here on the earth. He does not want us to get attached to this world and the things of this world because we belong to the Kingdom of God. (2)
(2) Living Before the World. Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul, (1 Peter 2:11) NKJV
(2a) I wrote you in my [previous] letter not to associate [closely and habitually] with unchaste (impure) people — Not [meaning of course that you must] altogether shun the immoral people of this world, or the greedy graspers and cheats and thieves or idolaters, since otherwise you would need to get out of the world and human society altogether! (1 Corinthians 5:9-10) AMP

What must happen to each and everyone of us is to allow God the Holy Spirit to renew and transform our minds from the profane secular humanistic worldview to the spiritual supernatural Kingdom of God Biblical Christian Worldview. (3) What happened to our Brother Saul/Paul at Ananias’ house i.e. God’s removing of the profane secular humanistic scales from his eyes must also happen to each one of us so we are prepared by God the Holy Spirit for our spiritual ministry of leading the lost sinners of this world to Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and then discipling them so He becomes their Lord God and Master. (4)
(3) And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (Romans 12:2) NKJV
(3a) Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. (Colossians 3:2-3) NKJV
(3b) [That is] because the mind of the flesh [with its carnal thoughts and purposes] is hostile to God, for it does not submit itself to God’s Law; indeed it cannot. So then those who are living the life of the flesh [catering to the appetites and impulses of their carnal nature] cannot please or satisfy God, or be acceptable to Him. (Romans 8:7-8) AMP
(4) And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” Immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he received his sight at once; and he arose and was baptized. (Acts 9:17-18) NKJV
(4a) But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you.  I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’ (Acts 26:16-18) NKJV

I continue to ask you to answer some more questions about yourself:
Through whose spiritual eyes, spiritual mind, and spiritual heart am I looking as I discern and work with the situations, circumstances, and events that make up my daily life? Is it through the profane secular humanistic eyes, profane secular humanistic mind, and profane secular humanistic heart of the world and the god of this world – Satan? (5)
(5) whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. (2 Corinthians 4:4) NKJV
(5a) He has blinded their eyes and hardened and benumbed their [callous, degenerated] hearts [He has made their minds dull], to keep them from seeing with their eyes and understanding with their hearts and minds and repenting and turning to Me to heal them. (John 12:40) AMP
Or, am I seeking and setting my thoughts and ways upon the thoughts and ways of the living loving God? (6)
(6) “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8-9) NKJV
(6a) Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods. Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders you have done. The things you planned for us no one can recount to you; were I to speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare. Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but my ears you have pierced; burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not require. Then I said, “Here I am, I have come — it is written about me in the scroll. I desire to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.” (Psalms 40:4-8) NIV
What must I do to be able to discern the “thoughts and ways of God?” (7)
(7) Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6) TLB
(7a) If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does. (James 1:5-8) NIV
(7b) And be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh mental and spiritual attitude]. (Ephesians 4:23) AMP
(7c) For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7) NKJV
(7d) For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ. (1 Corinthians 2:16) NKJV
(7e) And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him — the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the reverential and obedient fear of the Lord — And shall make Him of quick understanding, and His delight shall be in the reverential and obedient fear of the Lord. (Isaiah 11:2-3a) AMP
(7f) And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (Romans 12:2) NKJV
(7g) Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. (Colossians 3:2) NKJV
(7h) [For my concern is] that their hearts may be braced (comforted, cheered, and encouraged) as they are knit together in love, that they may come to have all the abounding wealth and blessings of assured conviction of understanding, and that they may become progressively more intimately acquainted with and may know more definitely and accurately and thoroughly that mystic secret of God, [which is] Christ (the Anointed One). In Him all the treasures of [divine] wisdom (comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God) and [all the riches of spiritual] knowledge and enlightenment are stored up and lie hidden. (Colossians 2:2-3) AMP
How do I connect my thoughts and ways to His thoughts and His Ways? (8)
(8) Always keep on praying. No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. Do not smother the Holy Spirit. (1 Thessalonians 5:17-19) TLB
(8a) However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you. (John 16:13-15) NKJV
(8b) Sanctify them [purify, consecrate, separate them for Yourself, make them holy] by the Truth; Your Word is Truth. (John 17:17) AMP
(8c) This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. (Joshua 1:8) NKJV
(8d) Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'” (Matthew 4:3-4) NKJV
(8e) And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32) NKJV
(8f) It is true that I am an ordinary, weak human being, but I don’t use human plans and methods to win my battles. I use God’s mighty weapons, not those made by men, to knock down the devil’s strongholds. These weapons can break down every proud argument against God and every wall that can be built to keep men from finding him. With these weapons I can capture rebels and bring them back to God and change them into men whose hearts’ desire is obedience to Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:3-6) TLB

Can you now see and understand that if you continually pray for the sound mind of Jesus Christ and transform and renew it by setting it above on the spiritual supernatural Kingdom of God that God the Holy Spirit will impute to you a spiritual supernatural Biblical Christian Worldview? This will enable you to so understand God and the things of God as you read His Word to be truly able to discern God’s thoughts for your life and implement His thoughts in living your life according to His ways in and for your life. IT IS NOT EASY, BUT YOU CAN DO IT IF YOU SET YOUR HEART, STRENGTH, MIND, AND SOUL ON GOD AS YOU SEEK AFTER HIM. (9)
(9) “If you would seek God And implore the compassion of the Almighty, If you are pure and upright, Surely now He would rouse Himself for you And restore your righteous estate. “Though your beginning was insignificant, Yet your end will increase greatly. (Job 8:5-7) NASU
(9a) The humble shall see it and be glad; you who seek God, inquiring for and requiring Him [as your first need], let your hearts revive and live!  [Ps 22:26; 42:1.] For the Lord hears the poor and needy and despises not His prisoners (His miserable and wounded ones). (Psalms 69:32-33) AMP
